Former McLaren team boss Eric Boullier lands new gig at French Grand Prix
Former McLaren team principal Eric Boullier, who was relieved of his job during last season as the MCL33 disappointed, has taken on a new job at his home Grand Prix venue - Paul Ricard
Strategic advisor, that's his new job title. This basically means that he'll have the same role as Marcus Ericsson has now for Alfa Romeo - a glorified ambassador.
“I attach particular importance to the French Grand Prix and I look forward to contributing to the success of this major motor sport event,” Boullier was quoted by RaceFans.
According to that same source, it's no coincidence Boullier is back in a job now. After he got axed at McLaren, he was not allowed to have any position at any other team, the FIA or the FOM for six months.
