Red Bull restructure their team around Verstappen

Red Bull team boss has claimed that Max Verstappen will play an important role in the team as he is now the more experienced driver.

Red Bull have implemented a few changes going into the 2019 season, Honda is coming in and Pierre Gasly is replacing Daniel Ricciardo. These major changes have led to a restructuring of the team and when speaking to Formule 1 Horner said:

"Pierre, of course, has the potential to develop and make life difficult for Max. Hopefully, they'll push each other and help to get the best out of each other, just like Max and Daniel did," he added.

When asked about Ricciardo's decision to leave Red Bull, Horner said, "I'm still surprised, but I respect that he wanted something new."

Heading into the 2019 season Red Bull have restructured their team and will hope that these changes enable them to compete at the top.
