Not a record Nico Hulkenberg wanted to have. The German driver has now competed in 208 Grands Prix without a single victory, let alone a podium. With this result, he has now equalled Italian driver Andrea de Cesaris.

Hulkenberg still without a win

Hulkenberg made his debut in Formula 1 in 2010, but has still not managed to cross the line first once. In the top-seven list, we also see the names of two other current F1 drivers, those of Kevin Magnussen (fifth) and Lance Stroll (seventh).

Incidentally, it is not the only unwanted record the veteran has to his name. Indeed, since September 2017, Hulkenberg has also been the driver with most race starts without a podium. In those 208 Grands Prix he drove, he also never finished second and third. The number two in the list of 'most driven GPs without a podium' is still Adrian Sutil (128 race starts).

Most GPs without victory

1. Andrea de Cesaris - 208
1. Nico Hulkenberg - 208
3. Nick Heidfeld - 183
4. Romain Grosjean - 179
5. Kevin Magnussen - 168
6. Martin Brundle - 158
7. Lance Stroll - 148
