After a rainy Saturday in Japan, no rain Grand Prix has yet been held in 2024. Could the Chinese Grand Prix change that? Find out in this weather forecast.

Weather forecast GP of China

Rain is scheduled for Friday, reports Weather.com. During the day, there is a 36% chance of rain. In the evening, this chance is even higher. It will be around 22 degrees in Shanghai. A sprint weekend is scheduled in China. That means the sprint qualifier will be run on Friday. It is therefore quite possible that it will be run in the rain.

Rain is also scheduled for Saturday during the day. The chance is even 66% then. Temperatures will remain to a maximum of 22 degrees throughout the weekend. Saturday in a sprint weekend is dominated by the sprint race and qualifying for the Grand Prix. So these sessions too could get wet.

Better weather is in store for Sunday. There is only a 22% chance of rain during the day, so it looks to be a dry race for now. In the evening, though, the chance of rain increases.
