After the hot Miami Grand Prix, we are now off to Imola for the first Italian Grand Prix of this season. What kind of weather can the drivers expect in Imola?

Warm temperatures in Imola

This weekend will be warm in Imola. According to Weather.com,  humidity will remain high throughout the weekend at around 60%. This means it will again be sweaty weather for the drivers and their teams, but fortunately, not as intense as during the Miami Grand Prix.

Sunshine is forecast to hit the track all day on Friday, with just a peak of 1% chance of rain. It is windy, but it should remain consistent in a south-westerly direction. The temperature is expected to peak at 23c. The third free practice session is also forecast to be sunny and dry, but the wind will change direction to north-easterly gusts.

The rest of Saturday remains dry, but Sunday's forecast is uncertain. The current description says, "thunderstorms developing in the afternoon." The Formula 1 teams and drivers will be watching the radar with anticipation.
