As the first European race is just around at the corner at Imola, many teams will bring upgrades to their cars, for example, Mercedes and Ferrari. Toto Wolff is less optimistic ahead of the weekend of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, while Charles Leclerc is more positive. Elsewhere, Daniil Kvyat talked about her daughter's, Penelope's, appearance in social media.

Upgrades at Imola

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff is not completely optimistic ahead of Mercedes upgrades that will be introduced at Imola. "It will be several races before we see this bear fruit, but everyone is working hard to bring them as soon as is possible. In the meantime, we will be looking to maximise the package we have," the Austrian commented. However, Mercedes will have the opportunity to celebrate in Italy. George Russell will receive the Lorenzo Bandini Trophy, and the German team will celebrate the 100th anniversary in the 1924 Targa Florio.

Charles Leclerc, however, is more optimistic about his team, Ferrari, as the Italians will introduce new upgrades to their car in their home race. The Monegasque driver believes a key figure in Ferrari's progress is team principal Frederic Vasseur. "I think Fred's vision and his ability to put the people in the right environment in order to extract the best out of everyone is something really, really amazing, and that has made the difference."

The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari will also get an upgrade of its own, as more gravel traps will be introduced.

Kvyat talks about his daughter, Penelope

In an exclusive interview with GPblog, former Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri driver talked about his and Kelly Piquet's daughter, Penelope, and her newly found fame. "I also spend a lot of time [with Penelope]. I just don't post things on social media. It's my choice. I have my relationship with her, [for] Kelly it's her relationship [with Penelope]," Kvyat explained
