Verstappen reveals reason for grumpy look: 'Don't like to talk about it'

The friendship between Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen is one that has been around for a while. The two were teammates together for a long time at Red Bull Racing, and there could be a lot of laughs when the two drivers did an interview together. Visa Cash App RB driver Ricciardo tells what he admires so much about the Dutchman.

In a video from The Project, Verstappen and Ricciardo stand side by side answering questions from the presenter. When Ricciardo is asked what is so perfect about Verstappen, the smiling Australian responds, "I would say Max is funny." Verstappen explains why people do not always picture him as funny.

Why doesn't Verstappen laugh in Drive to Survive?

"Yes, you don't really see a lot of me on Drive to Survive, because I don't like doing it. You probably don't get the right side of me, because it's just an interview and I'm sitting down in a dark room, and I hate that. And there's always question about the F1-related stuff, which I anyway don't like to talk about," the three-time Red Bull Racing world champion explained.

Last year, Ricciardo also said he admired Verstappen so much for approaching races. Back then, the 34-year-old driver from Perth was the substitute for the disappointing Nyck de Vries, who was sacked by Red Bull's sister team.
