Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll cannot be satisfied with the race he put down at the Monaco Grand Prix. The Canadian, who eventually crashed out, said he thought he hit the wall about five times. According to the son of Aston Martin owner, it was not a memorable race.

"In all honesty, this wasn't a race to remember. The first lap was pretty eventful - a lot of crashing; a lot of carbon fibre flying everywhere! I think I hit the wall about five times out there, but it just wasn't my day," Stroll said in Aston Martin's retrospective press release.

Stroll looks forward to Spain

While teammate Fernando Alonso, at the age of 41, is still reeling in podium finishes, his Canadian teammate is doing a lot less. Stroll, in the current season, has also yet to set a better qualifying time than his Spanish teammate.

Still, Stroll concludes on a positive note. "Congratulations to Fernando for an excellent result. I'll be aiming for a points finish at Barcelona next weekend. I'm already looking forward to Spain."
