Teams have quite a task ahead setting up their cars for the rest of the Australian GP. The two remaining sessions, qualifying and the race, will have completely different conditions.
Conditions will be even warmer in qualifying than it was on Friday and in FP3. It was around 29 degrees celsius during the third practice session, but around qualifying, it will rise a further four degrees to 33. The asphalt temperature will be 45 degrees.

Rain on Sunday

Overnight however, it will turn around completely. The temperature drops by 10 degrees until the morning, and by the time the Grand Prix is set to begin, it will be only 18 degrees. It will drop by a further two degrees over the two hours of the event.
This change in the weather also affects the asphalt temperature, that also drops to 22 degrees. The wind also increases considerably. From 5-15 km/h on Saturday, to 20-30 km/h on Sunday.

It is very possible that it will rain on Sunday as well. From the morning onwards, there is a 80% of rain happening, which continues until the race gets underway. Only halfway through there is a chance that showers will stop.
