AlphaTauri's Dutch F1 driver Nyck de Vries had his best F1 qualifying yet on Saturday of the Australian GP. De Vries made it to Q2 and will start from P15. He was beaten at the last minute by teammate Yuki Tsunoda.

Scoring points will be difficult for De Vries

The race just won't be easy according to the Dutchman's estimations. Never before has De Vries started so far ahead in Formula 1. He says he feels good, but it is not going to be easy during the race. For Viaplay's cameras, he let it be known: "[I feel] good."

"New round, new chances. I hope we have a bit of luck and our strategy comes our way at the end of the race." Team boss Franz Tost expects the possibility of points in Australia. De Vries: "I hope that too. If you are completely realistic then it will be difficult, but I am confident today."
