Giovinazzi's seat in F1 depends on others

Antonio Giovinazzi admits that his future in the sport depends on other drivers for next year.
Formula One is one of the most challenging sports to break into with such limited places available, and Antonio Giovinazzi knows that all too well at the moment.
Giovinazzi has been on Ferrari's books for a while now, but it looks like Ferrari have even more talent now coming through and Charles Leclerc looks dead set to replace Kimi Raikkonen in a couple of years, if his progress continues.
The Italian has also been linked with a Sauber seat, but it appears that Giovinazzi doesn't have that in his own hands either.
"I am happy with my job as a reserve driver but of course I would prefer to ride full-time with the team. So why not with Sauber," Giovinazzi said to Motorsport.com.

Marcus Ericsson and Leclerc currently occupy the two Sauber seats and with Raikkonen set to extend his Ferrari stay, it looks like Sauber have no vacancies either.
"It depends on other drivers if I also ride in Formula One next year," Giovinazzi explained.
"Some can still leave somewhere, so we will have to wait and see what will happen. But the goal to drive in Formula One next year, that just remains."
