Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has half-jokingly stated that he needs to sit down with his anger management psychologist after the Strategy Group meeting, as the things that were discussed during the meeting were all but music to his ears.

It's been a while since we've seen real anger in Formula One. Certainly from any of the team bosses, who seem to remain extremely calm, even when things go completely wrong. Nevertheless, Toto Wolff told Motorsport that he had an angry moment in the recent discussions of the Strategy Group.

In these Strategy Group meetings, all team bosses and the FIA (and Liberty Media) bosses are present to talk about changes in regulations. "During the discussions about the fuel limits, I had a moment about which I will have to work with my anger management psychologist," Wolff said.

"It was proposed to omit the limits of fuel supply. "

Mercedes weren't very happy that it's been decided to say goodbye to the MGU-H from 2021 and there are still a number of aspects where the Germans have their doubts. Mercedes also wants to avoid double costs for the development of engines for the 2021 season, as they'll have to constantly keep updating the current power source as well as develop an entirely new one.
