F1 enthusiasts with a Disney+ account will soon be able to watch a documentary series about Ross Brawn and his 2009 F1 team Brawn GP. The streaming service is currently working with actor Keanu Reeves to create the series.

Brawn GP to be the subject of new F1 documentary

Variety.com reports that a new F1 docuseries is coming. North One Television is working with Reeves to make a documentary about Brawn GP's exceptional championship year in 2009 for Disney+. Reeves was already seen in the paddock last month and now it seems clear why the actor was there. The series features former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, former champion Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello and Brawn himself.

Reeves has yet to reveal much about the upcoming documentary, but did say: "We want to tell that great story. A friend of mine told me the story and I was hooked. He also worked for Brawn in the publicity department at the time and is a producer/director. We immediately thought we should tell this story." Disney+ has not yet announced a date for the launch, but the series is not expected until the fall of 2023.
