Carlos Sainz took his first ever victory in Formula 1 on Sunday afternoon at Silverstone. Despite the impressive performance, the Spaniard was unable to secure first place in the Power Rankings of Formula1.com.

According to the jury, Lewis Hamilton excelled more as an individual driver in England. The Briton managed to finish third in his home country and even looked close to winning, earning a 9.2 for his performance.

This put him ahead of Carlos Sainz and Mick Schumacher. With the victory the Madrile born got a 9.0. Schumacher managed to score his first ever points in Formula 1, which earned him the same mark. Charles Leclerc and Fernando Alonso followed on a shared fourth place with an 8.2.

Max Verstappen managed to keep his car on the track despite damage and received a 7.8 for that, keeping him at the top of the rankings. The Dutchman has received an average of 8.8 for his performances this season. Leclerc and George Russell are also in the top three with 8.6 and 7.9 respectively.

Zhou gets points for his performance

Guanyu Zhou experienced a severe crash in Great Britain, which forced him to miss the rest of Sunday. It was no reason for the judges not to give him points. Like Nicholas Latifi, he received a 7.0.
