Russell: "We are still third fastest"

George Russell isn't the happiest with the results today as "We are one team. As a team it was not a good day, we don't have a handle on the car it's been inconsistent.". the Brit said in an interview with Sky Sports.

"We're fighting a small window, my side we managed to get it in the window, don't know why or how, but on Lewis' side they didn't manage to get it in the window. We take the positives but it doesn't help us in the long run. We are not here to fight for P6 or P5, and we're nine-tenths behind Checo." added the 24-year-old. "It's just confidence. I have been in a position with no confidence in the car on a circuit like this. If it's on a knife-edge, you can't push it to the limit" referring back to last year in his Williams Racing outfit.

However, the Brit refused to let the negative take all the airtime as he looked forward to future races "It's going to take time. We have to be grateful and thankful that we have such an issue but are the third-fastest team. If we are still third fastest, with so many issues then when we solve them we should be in a good spot,"
