Since Max Verstappen's retirement at the Australian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing have won every race. The Dutchman won every race except the Monaco Grand Prix, which was prey to Sergio Perez. Good form, then, for Red Bull, although team principal Christian Horner expects a different picture at Silverstone.

At the circuit where Mercedes and, before 2020, Ferrari were often just a little bit stronger than Red Bull, Horner expects the two teams to pose a big challenge to his team this year. "I think they (Mercedes) could well be quick here. It's a very smooth track here as you say and that allows them to run the car in the window that works for them," the Red Bull team boss explained to Sky Sports.

Can Red Bull win again?

In recent races, Mercedes have had to adjust the car higher than they intended because the Silver Arrows' car suffers from porpoising. This will be less of an issue at Silverstone, Horner expects. He compares the speed of Mercedes with that of Verstappen in Canada. In the final phase, the Mercedes-duo could keep up with the speed of the Dutchman relatively well.

With the upgrades in Silverstone Horner, therefore, thinks they can be a real danger, just like Ferrari. The Italians have suffered from disappointing reliability in the last few races, but it is more than clear that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have a fast car at their disposal. "I hope what we brought keeps us in the mix with Ferrari at this type of circuit", he said.
