Lando Norris and McLaren have had a very middling start to their weekend at the Azerbaijan GP. The Brit finished P11 in FP1 and P10 in FP2 and spoke to Sky Sports' Karun Chandhok afterwards about how he feels the struggle around the streets of Baku.

Getting to grips

Last year Norris qualified sixth and finished fifth, battling for the podium positions late into the race. However, in 2022, things seem to be slightly more uncomfortable for the young star.
"It's very tricky, especially in this years cars and with the wind today," Norris stated to Chandhok on Sky Sports' 'The F1 Show', pointing to the low-grip and tricky nature of the street circuit.
"It is tricky to get the bakes in the right temp and then get the tyres into the first corner but also you want to save it for the end of the lap. So, you need to manage to balance."

Norris will be looking to find his and McLaren's 2021 form going into Qualifying tomorrow.
