Lando Norris finished sixth at the Monaco Grand Prix. In his column on The Telegraph, the British driver let it be known that he is a strong supporter of preserving the historic race weekend.

Due to the growing popularity of Formula 1, the future of several circuits is under pressure. In recent months, the Monaco GP also passed by as a possible victim. Critics believe that the race on Sunday often does not provide excitement.

Norris disagrees. "I believe it should stay on the calendar," he reveals. "Not only is it an iconic venue, it is an incredible test of nerve and skill. When you are in the zone, as I was in the last 10 laps, it feels amazing."
