Mercedes shines in Miami with new rear wings for charity

Mercedes will drive with special rear wings at the Miami Grand Prix this weekend. The rear wings will be sold at the end of the weekend along with the NFTs.

Mercedes has partnered with the crypto company FTX and designed a special rear wing for the Miami GP for the occasion. The design features designs by Mad Dog Jones. It has become a colourful palette on which the name of FTX also shines.

For Mercedes, it is a goal to raise money for Ignite. It is the foundation supported by Hamilton's Mission 44 and Mercedes to bring about greater diversity and inclusiveness within motorsport. The sale of the rear wings at auction will raise money for this foundation.

Besides the rear wing, buyers also bid on so-called NFTs. A non-fungible token gives you a link on a blockchain, in this case, Mercedes' partner: FTX. Mercedes and FTX are planning to give away even more NFT 'Ticket Stubs' this year to ensure great growth.
