There is a great deal of pressure on the shoulders of Mick Schumacher. That pressure has only increased with the departure of Nikita Mazepin and the subsequent return of Kevin Magnussen, who has already shown that he can handle the VF22 well.

Schumacher, on the other hand, has not yet been able to show much. In Bahrain he finished in 11th place and in Saudi Arabia he did not appear at the start after his heavy crash during qualifying on Saturday. Magnussen, on the other hand, has a fifth and ninth place to his name, which puts him in eighth place in the championship.

Schumacher advises nephew Mick to learn from Magnussen

For Schumacher, it is therefore important to strike back at the Australian Grand Prix. There too he may still suffer the disadvantages of his crash in Jeddah, according to his uncle Ralf Schumacher. "He is now missing a race's experience. His mistake had very big consequences," says the Sky analyst at Autobild.

Schumacher advises his nephew to learn some techniques from his more experienced teammate. "What Mick can learn from Magnussen is to push the limit even more," continues the former Formula One driver. He stresses that Magnussen drives at a different level than Mazepin and that Mick "has to keep up with him and be faster than him at the end".
