Charles Leclerc was voted Driver of the Day at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix by Formula One fans worldwide, but there were plenty of other drivers eligible for the honorary title of 'GPblog Driver of the Day'. Which driver did you think was the best man in the field Sunday night?

Leclerc did everything in his power to cross the line first, but eventually had to acknowledge his superiority to Max Verstappen. The Red Bull Racing driver had to come from the fourth place, but managed to overtake teammate Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz and thus Leclerc on the circuit of Jeddah. An excellent performance.

Drivers in midfield also excel

George Russell and Esteban Ocon are also examples of drivers who performed well. Where Lewis Hamilton had to make do with a tenth place, Russell did everything Mercedes asked of him by finishing fifth. Esteban Ocon fought a bitter duel with Fernando Alonso and eventually finished on P6, for Alpine of course an excellent result.

Lando Norris finished on P7 in a McLaren that really couldn't move forward. He benefited from the fact that Kevin Magnussen and Lewis Hamilton did not go in during the first safety car and therefore lost a relatively large amount of time. Anyway, you have to hand it to Norris that he managed to score six points again.
