Alpine will race with special livery in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia

Alpine came out with the new car on Monday night. The A522 will be mainly blue in colour with pink accents next season, but during the first two races it will be a different story.

The French racing team has BWT as its name sponsor this season. The Austrian water company also had a partnership with Racing Point, the former Alpine, in the past. To celebrate this the team decided to drive around the Grands Prix of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in an all pink colour.

The car is reminiscent of the former Racing Point that was also on the track in pink. The special edition of Alpine's 2022 car is almost entirely pink with some blue accents. Starting with the GP of Australia, which is on the calendar in mid-April, Alpine plans to continue with the blue car.

Alpine hopeful about new car

Alpine will start the new season next month with a lot of expectations. Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon hope to have a better chance on the podium, although Red Bull Racing, Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren seem to have an edge for now.
