The disappointment is huge and the questions surrounding his future are growing. Rumours are swirling about a possible farewell to the seven-time world champion and the most recent development is raising even more questions.

Formula One fans checked Instagram because they wanted to know if the Briton was still following Formula One, but in doing so they found out that he is no longer following Formula One's official Instagram account. There's no news yet about a possible farewell for the Mercedes driver, but online he has already disconnected himself from the sport.
