''The most important thing is that we're going to fight for the world title''

Nothing is confirmed yet, but Formula 1 is aiming for a season start in Austria and one team and one driver will do very well. Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen are very happy with the possible first race of the season.

The last two editions of the Austrian Grand Prix were both won by Verstappen. On Red Bull's home track the team didn't win that often, but on the short twisty track Verstappen feels completely at home and fought his way back to victory in 2019 from a beaten position.

A possible start and even an option on a second race in Spielberg are therefore a nice scenario for Verstappen.''I always like to drive there and hopefully we'll also get two races'', says Verstappen in conversation with the Austrian ServusTV. Where Zandvoort had to be the big Orange party, that was always the case in previous years in Austria.

''All those people in the Orange, that remains just beautiful to see. However, the most important thing is that we are going to fight for the world title and that is why I want to go out again as soon as possible. Hopefully in Austria, but at least I'm ready for the start'', Red Bull Racing's team leader concludes.
