'Alonso's future plans will not be announced before summer'

According to the Spanish sports newspaper Alonso wants to focus on winning the Indy 500. Together with McLaren, the double world champion will once again try to win The Triple Crown (winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indy 500).

The American race has been moved by the coronavirus from the end of May to 23 August, which also postpones the announcement of Alonso's future. He himself would have already made the decision about where he will ride next year.

A switch to Renault and Formula 1 is obvious, but the aforementioned medium doesn't know for sure. The 38-year-old Spaniard would have had offers from NASCAR, IndyCar Series and Dakar teams.
