The first round of the European season kicks off in Jerez this weekend and the first Free Practice sessions have aready taken place.
It was a solid start to the weekend for Ducati, who made up four of the top five spots, with VR46's Di Giannantonio topping the timing sheets in FP1 ahead of Morbidelli.
Championship contenders Marco Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez were down in 4th and 5th respectively, but the real surprise of the session was the performance from Pramac Yamaha.
Jack Miller managed a P7 finish while Turkish rookie Toprak Razgatlioglu finished the session in P15 - both ahead of the factory
There were also appearances for test riders Augusto Fernandez and Lorenzo Savadori who tested out new parts and setups for Yamaha and Aprilia respectively.
