Marquez brothers send early warning with Sepang test pace

The first official pre-season testing ahead of the 2026 MotoGP season got underway today in Sepang with many of the grid's top riders and bikes taking part.
The day was split into two sessions and follows on from last week's shakedown test where teams made some last-minute adjustments to their bikes.
If the pre-season tests are anything to go by, we should be in for a wild season with some unexpected results compared to last year. Rather than the outright Ducati dominance of recent years, it seems as though other teams are doing an increasingly good job of closing the gap to their Italian rivals.
