The sixth round of the 2026 MotoGP season is set to take place this weekend 15 - 17 May at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain as the title rivalry between Aprilia temmates Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi takes shape. Following Martin's win at the French Grand Prix in Le Mans, the top two in the championship are separated by just one point heading into the weekend. The circuit has played host to some of the most iconic races in MotoGP history, including the last-lap duel between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo in 2009.
Reigning world champion
Marc Marquez will miss the race after sustaining a broken foot in Le Mans, the Spaniard underwent a successful double surgery earlier this week, though no date has yet been given for his expected return.

The Catalan Grand Prix is a home race for several riders on the grid, including the Marquez brothers, Joan Mir, Alex Rins and Maverick Vinales. Alex Escrig and Jorge Navarro in the
Moto2 class also hail from Catalonia, while Joel Esteban and David Almansa will have the home-crowd support in the
Moto3 class. Check out the full weekend schedule below:
