The Italian GP is the third race in the Triple Header of Belgium, Netherlands and Italy. In Belgium and the Netherlands, Max Verstappen won the Grand Prix and for the race at Monza, Verstappen is also considered the big favourite. The RB18 performs very well this year on circuits with many straights and there are plenty of those in Italy.

However, the Tifosi will be hoping for a Ferrari victory. In 2019, Charles Leclerc was the last Ferrari driver to win at Monza and before that it was Fernando Alonso in 2010. So Italian fans have not had much to cheer in recent years. In 2022, F1-75 does not seem to be the favourite for victory either.
During the first free practice session, the teams and drivers focus on improving the setup. The session will start at 2pm local time and last 60 minutes. Follow this liveblog so you don't have to miss anything of the latest news.
