Max Verstappen will start the Italian Grand Prix five places further down the grid than expected. The Dutchman will receive a grid penalty of five places on his trousers for replacing his ICE, reports De Telegraaf.
After Verstappen started with a completely new engine in Belgium, he had another problem two races later. This time Verstappen did not change his entire engine, but only a new ICE, or Internal Combustion Engine, as a precaution. For this, Verstappen received a grid penalty of five places.

Grid penalty for Max

The Dutchman will start Sunday's race from sixth place at best, provided he wins the pole on Saturday. Red Bull Racing chooses the Monza circuit for its easy overtaking. Verstappen will probably not need a new engine after this.
That a victory is still possible, Verstappen already showed during the Belgian GP. At that time he started the race from P14 due to all his grid penalties, but drove to the lead within half of the race. Whether it will be as easy in Italy remains to be seen.
