Formula 1 paddock, revealed via social media that she had successfully undergone surgery for appendicitis.
In a photo shared on her Instagram story, Montero Mundt was pictured in a hospital bed alongside Russell, confirming that the procedure had gone well. The 28-year-old added a heartfelt caption, affectionately referring to the Mercedes driver as her favourite nurse.

“It was appendicitis!!” she wrote. “Surgery went well, and I’m recovering in the best company. My fav nurse.”

Russell and Montero Mundt made their relationship public in 2020 and have since become one of Formula 1’s most recognisable couples.
In recent seasons, the Spanish-born Montero Mundt has become a familiar presence at race weekends, regularly attending Grands Prix alongside the British driver.
