Kelly Piquet has once again shared an endearing family moment with her followers. This time, Max Verstappen is seen on a yacht with daughter Lily, where the little one is clearly once again fascinated by the water and the view. The four-time world champion holds her tightly as they seem to be having a full conversation.
In the video Piquet shared on her social channels, Verstappen is sitting on the yacht with his daughter. Lily looks attentively outside and points excitedly toward the water. Verstappen follows her gaze and calmly talks with his daughter about everything there is to see outside. It makes for a sweet moment between father and daughter. Lily seems unable to get enough of the water, and Verstappen takes plenty of time to look with her and talk to her. "Bye, sailboat! Byyeee!" Verstappen calls out.
During the summer break, the family had already enjoyed a sunny destination and Verstappen’s yacht. The four-time world champion shared a few photos himself at the end of the vacation, which came up during the race weekend in Zandvoort. "It was really very nice, enjoying the good weather and the water. She’s growing up and she loves the water. She’s not afraid at all, so you have to be very careful with that!" Verstappen laughed.
Verstappen and Piquet appear to have spent the free weekend between the Dutch and Italian Grands Prix together. The Dutchman, who is also the team boss of his GT3 team Verstappen Racing, may have followed the race at the Nürburgring from a distance. Chris Lulham, Dani Juncadella and Jules Gounon claimed their first Endurance Cup podium of the season at the Nürburgring.

Piquet shares sweet moment after heavy, personal message

The lighthearted family moment comes a few days after Piquet shared a much more personal message about her eldest daughter Penelope. In it, she wrote about a difficult period around her daughter’s seventh birthday. Piquet emphasized how important rest, stability, and emotional safety are for children, in her view.
She did not go into specifics about what exactly had happened, but she did write at length about her role as a mother and her wish to protect Penelope as much as possible. Verstappen showed his support by liking his girlfriend’s post. "A month ago my P turned seven," Piquet began her message. "Birthdays should only be happy, but this birthday marked the start of a difficult month — a month that reminded me how much children deserve rest, stability, and emotional safety."
"Children notice more than we realize. They know who listens to them, who is there for them, and where they feel safe. In the end, consistent behavior and actions speak louder than words," Piquet continued. "So now that I have her back in my arms, I choose to focus on what truly matters: seven beautiful years with this special girl and the privilege of being her mother." Fans then speculated that it had to do with her ex-partner and former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat and his new partner, but Piquet did not make that clear.
