Kelly Piquet has revealed how she and Max Verstappen manage parenting their daughters alongside their careers. The two have become one of the most well-known and popular couples in the paddock, having been together for over five years, with their relationship bringing the birth of little Lily last year, the Red Bull driver’s first child.
In a recent interview with WhatPeopleAreWearing, the daughter of the three-time world champion opened up on how she and Verstappen juggle parenthood with their careers, explaining that the Dutchman aims to travel to races as late as possible and return home at the earliest opportunity, while she focuses on being more intentional with her time and setting clear boundaries, with the pair feeling satisfied with how they have handled the balance so far.
“I think it’s about being intentional with your time. In Max’s case, he will try to leave as late as possible for a race and come back as soon as possible. And in my case, it’s more about knowing how to say no.I think we’re doing okay so far.”
