Is it time for a crisis meeting at Red Bull Racing? Following Christian Horner’s dismissal, it certainly seems that way—and Max Verstappen has flown to the factory.
When the news of Christian Horner's dismissal came out on Wednesday morning, Max Verstappen had just landed in the Netherlands. The four-time world champion was back in his home country for a quick visit, only to return to his residence in Monaco by evening.

Where is Max Verstappen flying to?

A day later, Verstappen left again with his private jet to a new destination: Milton Keynes. The city where the Red Bull Racing headquarters is located and the place where Verstappen was just last weekend for the British Grand Prix.
In Milton Keynes, Verstappen, who was briefed about the dismissal beforehand according to Raymond Vermeulen, meets a new team principal.
Laurent Mekies is the new man at the helm of Red Bull Racing. Mekies is not a stranger to Verstappen. The Frenchman previously worked at Red Bull as team principal of Racing Bulls.
