Vettel once with Hamilton: "Everything was a bit rushed"

Sebastian Vettel is fully behind his competitor Lewis Hamilton when it comes to the formalities for the race. The Ferrari driver says he believes that Formula 1 should pay more attention to kneeling prior to the race to clarify the fight against racism.

During the Austrian Grand Prix the riders were given a prominent place at the front of the grid and the time to kneel when a driver wanted to. During the Hungarian Grand Prix everything seemed very hurried and the place of kneeling had also changed.

Hamilton had already said that the gesture against racism disappeared after one race and that it should come back every race as it did in Austria. Vettel agrees: "[On Sunday there] was very, very little time, everything was a bit rushed. I think drivers were just about to arrive", he says to Autosport.com.

"[There was time] to do whatever every driver individually decided to do, but in the end, they were starting [the national anthem]. I think going forward, it's probably true that we need talk amongst ourselves a bit better, so hopefully we can sort it out", concludes the four-time world champion.
