Verstappen voted Driver of the Day by GPblog readers

Verstappen won 39 percent of the votes. Lewis Hamilton scored 23 percent of the votes thanks to his fourth place. Sebastian Vettel saw 11 percent of all votes go his way.

Hamilton lost time during the first pit stop when Mercedes decided to perform a double stop. The seven-time world champion had to fight Esteban Ocon and that proved no easy task. Ocon was fast on the straights and so it took Hamilton a lot of pain and effort to get past him and eventually cross the finish line in fourth place.

Once again he finished behind teammate George Russell. The young Briton seems to have adapted silently to his new working environment and nowadays nobody is surprised that he manages to beat Hamilton. It earns him 4 percent of the vote.
