Following the contentious Spanish Grand Prix, Max Verstappen had no time to rest. Immediately after the race, the Red Bull Racing driver flew to Prague to film a commercial for Heineken — one of his personal sponsors - but the dutchman was far from alone. Czech media revealed that he wasn’t the only sports star in Prague for the shoot. Amateur photographers also spotted Virgil van Dijk, captain of the Dutch national football team and Liverpool FC. Van Dijk has been an ambassador for the beer brand since 2024, just like the four time world champion.
This isn’t the first time these two superstars have appeared together in Heineken campaigns, though the release date for the new commercial remains unknown.
A Quick Visit to Prague
Verstappen’s stop in the Czech capital was brief, arriving just hours after the Spanish GP at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where he finished tenth following a time penalty for an incident involving George Russell.
By Monday evening, Verstappen was back in Monaco, where he resides with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet, their daughter Lily, and stepdaughter Penelope. By Wednesday, the Dutch driver was already in Austria, attending the opening of a Red Bull museum.
