Nikola Tsolov will be part of the Red Bull Junior team. The 17-year-old Bulgarian will race for Campos in Formula 3 next season with support from the Austrian team. Tsolov is the latest member of the team and joins the likes of Liam Lawson, Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar.
Tsolov was part of Alpine's junior programme for two seasons. Earlier in this week, the Bulgarian announced his intention to leave the French team. It is now clear why: A deal at Red Bull. Red Bull have confirmed his arrival via their social media channels.
The Bulgarian will enter his second season in Formula 3 in 2025. Last season, he finished 11th in this championship with ART Grand Prix. He managed to win three races. Tsolov did not race at Spa. This is because the youngster also competed in the Eurocup 3 class in 2024, and according to F3 rules, you are not allowed to race in that series if you have already competed in the same circuit that year.
