The Monaco Grand Prix weekend, currently underway will experience its - usually - most important session this afternoon. Wil the weather throw a spanner in the works? For Saturday the weather is expected to remain somewhat constant with track temperatures between the low 36 °C and the high 42 °C, and the air temperature to remain at a steady and slightly cool 21 °C.
The humidity for both sessions is expected to be in the 55% as the rain probabilities are estimated to be at around 20%. The wind is set to change from FP3 to qualifying with the last practice session experiencing low wind speeds from 5-10 kph blowing North North West.
For qualifying it is expected to pick up mildly to 10-20 kph and to shift directions to North North East.
However, the forecast does predict moderate to light showers in the afternoon, between 13:00 and 16:00, just when qualifying is due to start, (15:00 BST).
Weather for the 2025 F1 Monaco Grand Prix
For the race on Sunday the conditions will be very similar to those experienced the day before. Starting at 15:00 Monaco local time (14:00 BST), the chances of rain are estimated to be at 20%, with the humidity levels at 50%.
The wind will blow to the North at 10-20 kph and the track temp will be several degrees warmer between low 41 °C and high 45 °C, and the air temp estimated to be at 22 °C.
Whilst during the morning the skies are expected to be somewhat cloudy, for the race sunny weather is forecasted with a light southerly seabreeze hitting the track.
