Alisha Palmowski will have a new look for the penultimate round of the F1 Academy season, with Red Bull and ExxonMobil joining forces to introduce a special American-themed livery for the United States Grand Prix weekend.
The championship leader's car will feature a Mobil-inspired design at the Circuit of the Americas, where she will compete for the first time in her career. The new livery will make its track debut on Thursday, 22 October, as the series begins an extended four-day programme in Austin.

Palmowski to race in new Red Bull colours at COTA

The design takes inspiration from the venue's American identity, combining stars and stripes with the red, white and blue colours associated with the Texas circuit. It also incorporates several references to ExxonMobil, which is marking its home race through the collaboration with the Red Bull Racing Academy Programme.
Among the most noticeable additions is Mobil's red Pegasus emblem, which features on both the sidepods and rear wing. Palmowski's race overalls have also been redesigned for the occasion, with a white trail representing the Pegasus running up the suit in a pattern that mirrors COTA's famous Esses.

The new appearance comes as Palmowski approaches a crucial stage of her F1 Academy campaign. With just five races remaining across the final two rounds, the Red Bull-backed driver holds a 48-point advantage at the top of the standings.

Her season has included four victories and four pole positions, with the Briton taking at least one win at each of the previous three rounds. Austin will provide another opportunity to strengthen her championship position as the campaign approaches its conclusion.
Palmowski admitted that the prospect of racing at COTA was already exciting, but the introduction of the special colours has given her even more reason to look forward to the weekend.
"I was already looking forward to driving in Austin, but with this special livery the weekend can't come soon enough. The design is really cool, COTA has always been a track I've loved watching races at, so to see it brought to life on my car is awesome."

The British driver also expressed her appreciation for the support she has received from ExxonMobil throughout her career: "A massive thanks to ExxonMobil, who have always been very supportive of me, and now they've even given my car a fresh paint job!"

Red Bull and ExxonMobil underline commitment to young drivers

The Austin initiative is also intended to highlight the relationship between the energy company and Red Bull's F1 Academy operation, which dates back to the programme's launch in 2024. For ExxonMobil, the partnership is centred on providing opportunities for promising drivers to advance through the single-seater categories, with Palmowski's performances offering an example of that investment.
Katy Howell, from ExxonMobil Global Sponsorship, praised the championship leader's progress and the qualities she has demonstrated during her racing career: "Having demonstrated exceptional pace and ability throughout her career, Alisha represents the kind of remarkable talent we are committed to supporting. Every mile matters in a person's journey, and we are proud to play a role in hers as she has continued to progress through the single-seater ranks."

Howell explained that the special livery also represents the company's broader ambitions within junior motorsport: "The Mobil-inspired livery celebrates our relationship with the Red Bull Racing Academy Programme, where we are helping create opportunities for the next generation of talent to develop, grow and realise their full potential."
Red Bull's Director of Marketing, Caroline Buckland, highlighted the longstanding involvement of Mobil in the team's F1 Academy activities and welcomed the introduction of the new design: "Mobil have been on this journey with us from the start, when we launched our F1 Academy programme in 2024. Delivering a special livery is always exciting for the Team, and we hope the fans love the design as much as we do."
She also reiterated Red Bull's determination to continue supporting the championship and its drivers: "At the Red Bull Racing Academy Programme, we're determined to keep delivering for F1 Academy with the same passion and ambition that we bring to everything we do."
