Cadillac has revealed a special livery for the United States Grand Prix, introducing a new design inspired by the American West for its home race in Austin.
The Formula 1 team's latest look combines its familiar black-and-white colours with intricate patterns inspired by traditional embroidery. Developed in collaboration with GM Design, the livery pays tribute to American craftsmanship and features several decorative elements across the car.
The most noticeable changes can be found on the engine cover and around the cockpit, where white patterns have been added to the black bodywork. Similar detailing extends along the nose, while the white sidepods feature subtle designs surrounding the team's sponsors.
Stars and Western-inspired illustrations also feature prominently, with the car number incorporated into the elaborate decoration on the engine cover.

Cadillac brings American West to Formula 1

The team explained that the design was intended to reflect its American roots, using traditional craftsmanship as the main inspiration for the special appearance.
"The Cadillac Formula 1 Team comes home with a new look shaped by American craftsmanship," Cadillac stated on its official website.
"Created in collaboration with GM Design, this special livery carries the character of the American West to the grid, weaving intricate embroidery and handcrafted detail into a design built for Formula 1."
Cadillac also shared a series of images showing the car from different angles, offering a closer look at the patterns covering the bodywork. The contrasting black-and-white design remains the foundation of the livery, with the new elements adding further detail without significantly changing the team's established colour scheme.

The American outfit also highlighted the importance of the occasion, describing the design as a way of bringing a distinctly American identity to the circuit: "There's an art to making an entrance. With intricate white embroidery against a sleek black canvas, this livery brings a distinctly American sense of style to a race on home soil."
Cadillac's home weekend will also see American driver Colton Herta return to the cockpit for the opening practice session on Friday. The 26-year-old, who is competing in Formula 2 this season, will replace Sergio Perez for FP1, having already completed practice appearances in Barcelona, Hungary and Italy.
