After four qualifiers in 2023, there are still four drivers who have won each time from their teammate. Yuki Tsunoda, Fernando Alonso, Alexander Albon and Nico Hulkenberg have not yet been trounced. Interestingly, no duel currently stands at 2-2.
Max Verstappen trailed his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez 3-1. Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon and Valtteri Bottas also took further distance from their teammate. Lewis Hamilton, for his part, did just a little bit back. The seven-time world champion was beaten in qualifying the previous three GPs, but was now faster than George Russell for the first time.
