Remarkable news from Las Vegas. Formula 1 has decided to close all fan areas even before the start of the second free practice session. So there will be no fans at all during FP2 in the gambling city.
The reason given by the organisation is "logistical considerations". What exactly that means is unclear. For visitors to the Las Vegas Grand Prix - who have paid a huge amount of money for a ticket - this is obviously a severe bummer.
