Max Verstappen topped the third and final practice session ahead of qualifying for the Bahrain GP. The Red Bull had some issues with his rear wing but still managed to go quickest, beating Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, who all had time at the top of the leaderboard.
Kimi Raikkonen was the first driver to set a lap time in a slow start to the session, that saw only midfield drivers exit the pitlane in the first 20 minutes.
Several midfield runners had their name at the top, but Verstappen and Hamilton filled the top two positions when they finally made their way onto the track.
Bottas was having a few difficult moments, sliding and locking up as daylight began to fade in the desert.
However, he eventually found the sweet spot of his Mercedes and jumped to the top of the timesheets by almost a second with a great lap.

His time at the top didn’t last though, as Hamilton snatched P1 away from him just moments later.
Despite the pace of the Mercedes, Verstappen found even more speed from somewhere to take his turn at the top.
Alex Albon finished the session in fourth after his big crash in FP2 yesterday, ahead of Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly. Lando Norris was seventh, with Daniil Kvyat P8. The Racing Point pair of Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez rounded off the top ten, with the Canadian the faster of the two.
