Massa sees Verstappen dominance: 'No one is on the same level'

Max Verstappen is on track to win his third world title in 2023. The Dutchman is a whopping 125 points ahead of teammate Sergio Perez, who is second in the championship, during the summer break. In fact, Verstappen is so dominant that Felipe Massa thinks he will win it all until 2026.

These are figures that will make many a Verstappen/Red Bull fan happy: in the first 12 races, the two-time world champion won 10 of them. The other two races were won by Perez, meaning the Austrian racing team managed to win every race before the summer break. The team set the record for most wins in a row as a constructor, and Verstappen is also well on his way to breaking the record for most wins in a row by a driver. To match this record, currently held by Sebastian Vettel, he will need to take his ninth win in a row at Zandvoort. The following week, at Monza, he could finish the trick once and for all, by winning for the tenth time in a row.

Massa is also impressed. Speaking to Motorsport.com, the driver who almost became world champion in 2008 tells what he expects from Verstappen in the coming years: "So by 2026 we can expect Verstappen to win every title. Then, logically, we have a big change, with everything new, new car, then we have to understand if Red Bull will be the same as today. But right now I don't see anyone on the same level as Verstappen."
