Charles Leclerc has admitted that he doesn't have a problem with Max Verstappen being outspoken and hopes to one day drive in the same car as the Dutchman.
"Why not? That would be nice," replied Leclerc in conversation with Jack Plooij at Ziggo Sport when he is asked if he would ever want to drive in a team with Verstappen. "I mean we drive against each other for a very long time, back in karting too. We had some funny moments, well funny now, but..." the young Monegasque laughed.

Outspoken Verstappen is 'fine'

During the Q&A, Leclerc was also confronted with the fact that the Red Bull Racing driver often does not mince his words during press moments in the pinnacle of motorsport. "Sometimes he can do silly comments in the media, but at the end, that's what makes Max. I think we need personalities in Formula 1 and that's fine".
Leclerc hopes to move up to fourth place in the world championship in Bahrain this weekend. The Ferrari driver is currently sixth and only four points behind Daniel Ricciardo of Renault.
