Christian Horner is impressed with his driver Max Verstappen. He finds it impressive that Verstappen managed to win in Miami with so little preparation time and with so little data.
"It was a great recovery from Verstappen. To lose most of Friday and not be able to do long runs... he drove brilliantly today," Horner started on Viaplay after the Miami Grand Prix. "He had a good start. The pressure after the safety car. Charles was throwing everything."
Afterwards, we saw clearly on screen that the drivers had to go extremely deep in the United States. Red Bull's top man agrees that the conditions were tough. "It's very hot here and humid. It's a demanding circuit, the drivers lost a few kilos today." 2021 was an exciting season, but the battle between Verstappen and Leclerc looks set to be just as exciting. "It will be another year like last year. It's great for the sport, but not good for my blood pressure," Horner judged.

Updates for Red Bull

At Sky Sports, he comes back to talk about any updates on the RB18 in the coming weeks or months. "We have some developments coming later on in the summer that should help as well and we need to save weight but we are on a good trajectory. You can improve everywhere. We need to improve slow stuff and loose weight."

When exactly updates will come, Horner did not say.
