Lewis Hamilton was very critical of Formula 1 after the Grand Prix weekend in Hungary. The drivers made a statement against racism at the Hungaroring by kneeling, but this was very chaotic. Some drivers came too late and according to the six-time world champion it was all 'too hurried'.
Hamilton went on to say that he believes that in general, Formula 1 does too little and that he would therefore enter into conversation with Liberty Media top man Chase Carey and FIA President Jean Todt.

Statement of F1

A Formula 1 spokesman told Racefans.net. "Ending racism and increasing diversity and inclusion in F1 is a clear priority and something everyone supports", can be seen from the statement. "We set out our plans for diversity and inclusion last November and have in recent weeks announced additional plans to create a task force to tackle these issues."
So in the background, new programmes to tackle racism are being developed. "We want to make lasting change and are acting to do this," said the spokesperson.
