With its recent contract extension, the Miami Grand Prix now holds the longest contract for a current Formula 1 circuit.
GPblog confirmed that there will be 24 Grand Prix on the 2026 calendar, which means some races are in trouble.
Las Vegas and
Imola are the only two circuits whose contracts expire this year. With only one slot left, it is almost certain that
Imola will be the one to go—unless they agree to become a rotational track. However, it could be possible that Barcelona is replaced completely by Madrid, and another slot opens up.
