Nyck de Vries caused a red flag in qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The AlphaTauri driver braked, but did not make it around Turn 3 and put his AT04 into the wall. It means the Dutchman will have to start last in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday.
De Vries crashes in qualifying Azerbaijan
De Vries had no time on the clocks at the time of his crash. The 28-year-old driver's crash came at a bad time, as he seemed to have just a bit more momentum to catch.

When exiting the pit lane, de Vries had to be rolled back by his team due to a brake problem. This may also have played a role in his crash.
